I have had a busy day doing very little !! After my friend had been down for morning coffee and a chat I decided it was time to marzipan my Christmas Cakes This was done quite successfully I think , then a late lunch after which I deserved 40 winks (or more ) Being a dull cold day today -- with no beautiful winter sun I had nothing prepared for 365 ! So my lit candle was rearranged with my fruit ! and then a bit of titivating (editing !) A gentle start to the Christmas feeling . Now Gary is going to help me to put the Christmas light up in the conservatory ! We must start and gradually build up
decorating for Christmas !
I don't need to marzipan my cake cause I bought it from M&S!! I don't like cake so usually only Harry to eat it so a small one will do. Sounds like we don't have any visitors but not many that eat cake! A nice display with your candle there lit up. I have made a start today with decorating but but a bit early for me yet. All our end of the road is lit up with trees & lights so it's looking pretty!
Lovely fruit display and a warm glow from the candle gives off a lovely light. I have reserved tomorrow to start decorating my tree am trying to get it done early this year.
Complementary to the orange!
