Viburnum tinus by beryl

Viburnum tinus

A horrible and wet day today . Pat my friend called at usual for morning coffee and a good old chin wag , putting the world in order !
Spotted in the garden that my viburnum is producing new flower cluster ,and it pleases me to find coming to life in the garden and brightening a little corner here and there .
I am having difficulty with my eyesight and there fore I can not distinguish whether my photos are in focus or not ! which is very despairing !but I am sure you will understand . I had a telephone yesterday to make my choice of hospital to have the lazer treatment on my eye -- I could have it done within 4 weeks if I was prepared to go to Stoke - on -Trent Hosp I declined as it would mean Hospital transport to get there and back , To have the treatment done in the PRH Telford I will have to wait approx17weeks !! which I decided I would prefer ! as hopefully it will not clash time-wise with my knee replacement op !!
This afternoon Gary helped to put away the Christmas Decorations and then helped me to clean and tidy the spare bedroom which is my office/
sewing room .
A lovely capture.

How we welcome visitors on days like these! Lovely to have a friend call in for a good old chat! Hard to make choices for the best but I hope your plan works out for the best, nearer is better than a traveling I always find! A busy year Beryl!

Thank goodness for the NHS. We are very well looked after when the need arises. Our son, who is only 55, had two heart attacks in a week earlier this year. He had to have a triple by-pass. Just amazing !

Beautiful.

Good thing, cameras can do their own focusing! If we want to have anything done on the medical front we always have to travel - about 2 hours!

It's lovely to viburnum at this time of year. It's very cheery on a miserable wet day.

Beautiful capture...lucky for us that cameras have autofocus. I understand where you are coming from though...I have had RA for about 20 years and it has been causing more then just joint problems. It's been affecting my lungs and eyes the past few years...lots of double vision.

Pretty flowers to have in your garden so early in the year, I have had hospital transport a few times Beryl and everyone has been wonderful and the service and help is second to none.

Lovely shot. We had such an emotional day yesterday with the funeral to attend that I forgot to take down the decorations on 12th night. Hope 13th night doesn't mean it is bad luck.

My son had part of his specialist training in Stoke-on-Trent Psychiatric Hospital. I don't know if it is part of the general hospital but it was new and very well-thought of; he finished his training in Oxford and is now a Consultant Psychiatrist in Malta. If it were for me, I would have chosen the Stoke-on-Trent Hospital to get it over with as soon as possible. Anyway it's your choice and I'm sure you made the right one. Beautiful capture especially of those 'fleshy' leaves.

17 weeks, over 4 months! That's a while. But, as you say you wouldn't want it to clash with the knee operation.
