Happy Saint Dwynwen day to you Beryl sending my love and friendship to you on this special day and throughout the year. Hope you are starting to feel a little better from your bad cold.
Happy love to you Berry. I love the Welsh flag with the red dragon. I must check out how this came to be - there must be a story about it (I mean how the dragon found itself on the flag).
Thanks Sue -- still feeling under the weather and keeping my fingers crossed to be OK for next week's pre op assessment for the other knee replacement !!
@ziggy77@gijsje@mittens -- Thank you all -- @lavenderhouse Malcolm I was born and bred in Welsh Mid Wales but I was never aware of this either until my student days in Bangor , N Wales ,
Not heard of this one before, but happy St. Dwynwen day Beryl! There are alot of particularly nasty bugs about at the moment, hope you are fully recovered soon.
I had never heard of St Dwynwen until today. I just showed this photo to David and he said he had a teacher called Dwynwen. He has just told me a story about her. David and his friend Bryn used to always challenge what Dwynwen said in class and she replied with the comment. 'Do you know, you two are a real pain, but at least you listen'
Happy Saint Dwynwen day to you Beryl . Never heard off it but make it a great celebrathing. Nothing wrong with having a nice free of work day.
Thank you for you great, and so nice, comment on my last pic. Appreciate them very much.

thank you all for your kid wishes and friendship ! Although Welsh born and bred in mid Wales I had never heard of St Dwynwen until I was a student in Bangor N (student life and celebrating go hand in hand !!) So the Welsh men have two chances to send a card to their loved ones -- if they forget St Dwynwen,s day they can send a card on St Valentine day as Jo pointed out !! Glad it brought something for you and David to reminisce about
Beryl could you please rehit the Fav button on my shot 'Holding on....' as it hasn't registered
