Amaryllis --Day 1

I potted up my Christmas gift yesterday, boxing day 26/12/2017, As you can see the Amaryllis had already started to sprout in it's box , so I shall be checking on its growth and flowering each week . It is now in a flower-pot on my dining-room window sill in full light !

I was given one last Xmas, which grew and flowered beautifully....I then repotted it, and much to my surprise, it then grew and flowered again......

I potted up one I got for Christmas as well.. be interesting to see who's flowers first.. mine is outside .. never grown the before.. my one has about the same amount of growth..

Looks great already, and many photograph opportunities it will give you :-) Would like one myself, but indoors (in our house) is quite dark and I read they need a lot of bright light.
