The Japanese Anemone are not doing too well this year the pink seems to have very long stems and no longer a compact shrub while some of the white looks sick and so far has filed to flower ! Another hot day , one load of washing already dried outside !
We've had some really heavy downpours over the last couple of weeks, but the ground is still rock hard. The evergreens don't seem to mind the dry weather and neither do I, winter will be here before we know it.
