Another of my fibre-optic Christmas decoration that has been in the family for many years . He comes down from the attic every Christmas to stand on the hearth . and gives out a beautiful multicoloured glow !
Got to grips with Christmas today - sorted out the Christmas Cards and posted the stamped ones , posted a card to my cousin in California , and a family Christmas Parcel - nice to get those out of the way ! Decorations still to be finalised - then the nicer things of baking , out for meals and party and some me time !!
You e definitely cracked it Beryl! The cards are the biggest job in our house....posted oractilly all of the postal ones & today I at last wrote & posted last two...one to Oz & the other to Ontario. It’s the ones you have to write news in that are the hardest! Your Father Christmas is very jolly & im sure would prefer being on your hearth all year round!
I love your Santa he does look very happy watching over you all. I have been getting my cards ready to post and the tree is almost done still lots of shopping to do though and it will have to wait as I am in a lot of pain with my knee back and my ankle again.
@maggiemae - plugged in Maggie !! - so much easier than batteries although I have a couple of battery operated ornaments - I use rechargeable batteries in these !!
