Another cold ,dull morning , but so far no rain !!

A beautiful flower Beryl, it's a Larkspur, belongs to the Delphinium a genus of about 300 species. :)

@dannydavies Its one of the many Salvias - salvia nemorosa ! - the same family as the culinary mint and sage !

It’s horrid weather! The bees must be fed up, it will be crawling up foxglove trumpets to keep warm! I really like delphiniums! Must be thankful we aren’t flooded!

@maggiemae - Maggie this is not Larkspur as Danny suggested ,but one of the Salvias, I have in the garden ., a different family group of flowers altogether !
