Hyacinths and apples

I love Hyacinths - but their perfume is overwhelming for me and sets off hayfever symptoms - so I only buy them as gifts for other !
It has been a dull , damp and dismal day here today - the typical depressing days of the New Year . So had a cosy time phoning a few family and friends to wish them A Happy New Year , and made a RESOLUTION to keep in touch more often in the coming year .

I too love hyacinths, the smell is Devine! Kept thinking I should have planted some early enough....they don’t last very long though sadly. Love this nature still life Beryl.

I too find the scent of hyacinths a bit overpowering. I enjoy them more if they’re outside. A lovely image and great processing.

we have some hyacinths growing in our kitchen , this is a nice study beryl
