My vase of artificial "mums " , cheers up a dark corner in my back-living room . They remind me of the big headed "mums" my dad used to grow and tenderly tended in his greenhouse , to bring a bunch into the house for my mum ,hopefully for Christmas ! Mine on the other hand live for ever with a little shake and dusting and an occasional bath in warm soapy water , rinsed and shaken dry , to be put back in a vase , ( not always the same vase - depending on my mood !!)
Quite a plesant day but I hve not been out , - the last couple of days ,have been days full of aches and pains . So good to have an excellent washer upper on such a day !
Beautiful flowers nicely presented, hard to tell the difference. Sorry re the aches and pains, but I should imagine many of us have these day too. I too am fortunate to have a "washer upper".
Good for Gary! The washing up is a bit of a chore after a meal. We have no dishwasher here so we have to do it the old fashioned way. I don’t mind to be honest as emptying the thing is worse than the washing up when there’s only two of us!
These artificial flowers are so beautiful now....they look lovely Beryl! Perfect timing season wise too!
Lovely chrysanthemums especially the cream spiders. The silk flowers are very realistic nowadays and always a pretty addition to a room. Hope you are soon feeling a lot better Beryl.
