Quite a busy day for me , this morning I had a few phone calls to make -- the worse of phone calls these days is getting through . Yesterday I tried twice to phone the Medical centre - the 1st time after 20 mins I gave up , The second time in the afternoon I was on the phone for 47 mins and gave up with no answer ,arggh-- so I wrote a note and delivered it through their post box this morning . Today 's phone calls were a mixture of friends and business - it was not too bad , but still time consuming . I didn't go out yesterday so I had to do my weekly food shopping today Now having a cuppa and a sit down before attacking a load or two of washing . ( not too much to it with the washing machine and dryer to do the work ) !
Oh dear not so good when you can’t get in touch with your medical centre Beryl. It’s very annoying waiting on the phone...I have done some of that today too. They have paid me the wrong winter fuel allowance as if I’m living on your own but not paid Harry anything! It’s sorted now but it’s taken about three days to sort it!

Nice festive shot Beryl. I find getting through to doctors surgeries these days is not easy. You have to go through so many options & I think the “ ask my gp” thing is the worst thing invented!!
