New Year's Day Concert 2021

A Healthy and Happy New Year to you all. -old and newly acquired friends . A new year as I start my venture onto year 8 on 365 !
Just watching Vienna Philharmonic's annual New Year's Concert in Vienna . on the TV so beautiful and calming but somehow missing the atmosphere as it is void of an audience .

We watched it too for a good while but the lack of audience spoilt it somewhat for me....after a while we switched over & watched 100 best walks. Did they have any dancers on ...I never saw any!

So dreamy to "see" a concert like that -- even knowing it's on TV. We ended up watching a couple of concerts/performances that were excellent, supporting some of the local theaters in Michigan. Different NYE, but pleasant and safe. Happy New Year.

We might still watch a bit of it, but it'll not be the same without the audience. like the collage except for the empty chairs.

I love watching this. I went to one of their concerts back when my son was doing his spring term Jr. year of collage in Vienna. We were in this concert hall.

Audience make it real. I watched a comedian do a sketch of approx. 20 minutes without any audience and it just didn't work as well.

Lovely collage. I have seen this after I saw the Italian concert from Venice. I really enjoyed the Venice one but cannot say the same about that from Vienna, in the end I was too tired to see it till the end. I have been following the Vienna New Year concert for at least 50 years.
