Not only did I buy the lovely pink Calla Lily yesterday but I also indulged in the purchase of this beauty -- just what I wanted in the back garden to replace my old lace-cap Hydrangea which died of old age last year ! ( best viewed on black if you have the time !! )
Another weekend , and more to the point the last day of July - tomorrow ,August , where does the time go !! Have a great weekend !
I am quite envious, I wish we could grow hydrangeas, they don't seem to like it here in New South Wales. We has two beautiful plants when we lived in Melbourne though.
Beautiful! I learned recently that the colour of hydrangeas reflects the acidity of the soil. And I've been told that in Colombia people put a copper coin in the soil to make the hydrangeas blue. You probably know all this, Beryl, but I thought I would pass it on in case.
