Gently swaying in the breeze

I just love my late summer , tall rudbeckia ! a plant I had from my parent;s garden ,many years ago . They attract the bees and butterflies but alas - I shall not mention that !!
Lovely bold colour

Beautiful shot. Such a happy looking plant with those beautiful flowers. And the fact that it brings happy memories for you makes it even more precious.

Ooh, there's lots of yellow in my corner of 365! Great for a flower colour - the sun and happiness!

Beautifully captured. Is there a knack to growing them? I have tried and failed!

@busylady I do not really know Judith - These seem to grow and spread in abundance , but I had no success with the shorter "black eyed Susan " they did well the 1st year then dwindled and died !!!!!!!!!!

I’m going to get some of these Beryl…you can see how our garden is lacking in colour….it needs much work round the edges….shrubs like this will be perfect.

Fav-So beautiful- the bright yellow flowers, the backlighting, the shadowing, and the sense of movement. How wonderful, also, that these are a tie to your parents, Beryl!
