The Sedum is in flower and attracting the bees in their droves !
A truly hot day today , Had an appointment at the Dr this morning , then popped to the supermarket to collect my prescriptions and shop for odds and ends - by the time I struggled home it was stifling hot had a light lunch before a siesta ! Just now ,I captured this scene in the back garden from the conservatory doorway ( too exhausted / lazy !! to step further out ! ) They forecast rain and thunderstorms tonight and tomorrow for us -- just could do with some rain ,the land is so dry !
NB nice viewed on black !
A beautiful close-up, Beryl! Such a great view of the bees, who are so intent on their work, and the colours are so vibrant! Love this! Fav (Do you have humidity too? Humidity can be so energy-sapping. I hope you and the land get some relief soon.)
The very picture of a hot sunny day…..the bees are really busy there, good to see! I’m ready fir a bit cooler too although we’ve enjoyed having our big doors open, in fact they are still wide open now!
That hot weather is unusual? Global warming effects? I never think of England as hot.
fav
hope the rain comes soon
