I love the giving and receiving of Christmas cards . Last evening I wrote the bulk of my cards with added notes to some ! This morning I have continued with the task and I think I have done most by now - still one or two to do ! The red envelopes look lovely and Christmassy BUT it means I have had to put a label for the address on each one !!!!!!! A good job done !
Had a busy day yesterday and the shoulder is paining me ! So a less strenuous day today ! So thankful for the automatic Washing Machine So one load is merrily being washed , and another load waiting to be put in ! So much easier than the olden days of the hand wash !
Another horrible and wet day with the threat of gale force winds as Storm Bara passes through !
So wonderful. Honestly for the last couple of years the postage has cost more than the cards. I’ve cut way back, but still send out too many cards. I blame my mother, she always said to send Christmas cards to people you want to keep in touch with.
@louannwarren Ooh I know Lou Ann , each year I have tried to cut down and this year there are a few that I think shall I or shan't I !! The trouble is family and old friends live back in Wales and this is the only time we keep in touch !!
