The foxgloves have been beautiful and tall in the garden this year , but alas the flowering life is coming to an end , and now gone to seed - and still beautiful in their own right ! - but time to cut down , I shall be saving some seeds for next year .
Nice viewed on black .
So when ours seed can I let them just stay there & they will reseed themselves Beryl? My two new ones are looking lovely…will pop out in the rain soon for todays photo.
@happypat -- the easiest way to do it , as long as you do not hoe or dig out the new seedlings at a later date ! -- We have had no rain here over the last few days 0 but lots of blustery winds , drying everything up -- some of the plants are suffering with the drought !
@beryl I suppose I would be far better collecting the seed & sowing it in a tray for next years young plants! Will I remember to water them though that’s the thing? If we had a greenhouse I could put them in there & Harry would look after them! He might mow over the new seedlings if I just leave them! Will have a think.
