Eryngium

A new plant I bought a few weeks ago ,but still in the pot as it has been too hot and dry to plant it out in the garden !
This morning it was dull and sultry but by lunchtime the sun has come out and it is swelteringly hot ! (we are not used to this ! !!)

I think those spiky points could be dangerous to children and animals. Better keep it in a pot out of their reach. Makes a lovely shot, though.
