Two of my treasured possessions . The black panther was an ornament I fancied at my great Aunt's house when I was on holidays with my grandma at Aunty Sally's house . I must have been 6 or 7 years old!! I remember Aunty Sally saying to my grandma - let her take it home - I do not like its eyes following me around the house !"
The lady and the basket was a gift my dad bought my mum from an antique's shop. again when I was a child . It is of an Irish cockle and mussel picker! Sadly not Molly Malone!!
How lovely Beryl

Lovely figurines. The panther looks as though it is just about to pounce on the poor unsuspecting muscle picker.

Treasures like this are worth more than gold- especially when they have stories that go with them.
