One of the pair that visit daily at the bird-table now the weather is getting colder.
Not feeling the brightness as I am still in continual pain with my big toe ,9 Hence my photography is suffering!!) I have been on a course of antibiotics for 7days, but no improvement - so I have another Dr's app next Monday. Meanwhile its putting up with the pain , and not being able to wear a shoe except for a open-toe sandal ( not very warm on these cooler days ) !!
@carole_sandford The source of the matter seems to be the base of the nail! - red , bit swollen but not unduly hot! but a numb like niggly pain. ( and my feet are cold in sandals!! )
@beryl I bet they are. Hopefully when they see you on Monday they can give you some relief. I bet Monday seems a long way off at the moment though. If you are in a lot of pain, I would contact GP & say you need something before then x
Your birds are very lucky….all those houses to choose from & plenty of berries on hand. Sorry to read your toe is still sore, the antibiotic should be working by now. Another think about treatment I think.
A beautiful bird canteen. Sorry to hear that your finger still hurts. If it's something near the nail, the pain may last a little longer. We then soak the feet in herbs.

Oh, dear. I'm so sorry to hear your are in such pain, and no relief from the antibiotics they have prescribed. When you get into the doctor's office on Monday, I hope they can figure out what's going on and what will do the trick. In the meantime, you have managed to get a nice bird picture here. So kind of the dove to pose for you.
Ohhhhh...so sorry to hear about your aching toe and foot! I hope that heals up quickly. In the meantime- do your best and don't worry about the perfect shot. This one is quite nice!
