Feeling terribly and off-colour! , with some dreaded lurgy - headache, earache sore-throat!!! So failed to motivate myself into a proper photography today. Got up this morning after having a restless night , but by 12pm went back to bed and slept most of the afternoon! Got downstairs again at around 4pm still feeling groggy! so all I could motivate myself was to photo this wall-hanging of an Elephant I made some years ago while attending silk-painting classes. .( Perhaps one day ,it will be made into a cushion cover!! )
That's really lovely, Beryl! Your artistic repertoire is amazing! Fav (I'm so sorry to hear you are feeling so awful. At the risk of being intrusive, are you able to get a PCR test for covid (or a rapid test at least...but they can take a number of days before they give a positive reading). My point is that if you can get paxlovid within 5 days of symptoms (but the sooner, the better), you will start to feel much better quite quickly. I know I may be jumping to conclusions, but the rate of covid is through the roof in all of our countries (the scientists and health care workers tell us this (on Twitter...my source anyhow), but our government officials tell us nothing (I am also following the UK inquiry into how covid was handled- scandalous- but I won't go there). Sorry to be so presumptuous, Beryl, but I would hate for you to go through a bad round of covid (if that's what you have). I'll stop now. Do take care! xx
It’s a lovely wall hanging, nice artwork. I hope you feel better soon, I am feeling grotty too, the same symptoms as you. But Mick has Covid his first time, don’t know where it’s come from but I’m negative just feeling rotten so will I be lucky and escape, no idea!!
