A lovely bright and sunny winter's morning . Just had an Annual Christmas visit from Ann my niece, as she was travelling from her cottage in mid Wales to her home in London. Ann is always full of joy and laughter - a great Christmas Tonic.
I have not put up and dressed my usual Christmas Tree this year but I will suffice with this table top pre-lit artificial tree.

I love this little gold decorated tree. Two years ago I gave up on decorating a 6 or more foot, tall tree and switched to buying a little 2 or three foot tree which comes already in a stand. Now that we don’t have the huge family gatherings that we did when the kids were young it seems much more sensible.
It’s enough Beryl. We have said that in another couple of years we won’t want to be bothering with a big tree. Cathy can have ours & they have a smaller modern silver lit one that we gave them when we moved here. We will have it back!
I bet you love your cheery niece popping in….what a tonic. Hope you feel less achy!
That's a pretty tree, Beryl! And your presentation is lovely (I love the reflections in the ball, the rough textures, the framing- all really nice!) Fav! And how wonderful to have your niece pop in for a cheery visit!
