A dry-stonewall and beyond.

I love the ruggedness of the dry stonewalls that run for miles separating the fields in N.Wales - as in many parts of UK.. I love how they gather moss , grow algae and lichen, some of the stones come in many shapes and sizes . So different to the soft foliage of the trees beyond !

They do take on a lot of character as the age. The walls in this area are similar as far as dividing go but mostly made of fieldstone. Nice shot!
