Beddgelert by beryl

Beddgelert

This was taken on a beautifully sunny ( unlike today when it is absolutely pouring with heavy rain showers) ! Literally translated Beddgelert means "The grave of Gelert" -- this I will go into later on !The village is built in the local stone and roofed in the local slate -and houses little craft shops and the famous local Ice cream -- Cadwalader Ice cream --and its many varied flavours are so delicious !
It looks a very interesting village the houses look cute built with the local stone and slate

I am really enjoying the tour around, first Portmeirion and now Beddgellert. Two of my favourite places in Wales.
