Time is running out on the year 2013 -- one more day to go ,and as I started 365 on the 1st Jan 2013 my 1st year also draws to an end !! What have I gained from it !!
1) friendship -- thank you all my regular followers for your kindness, comments and support
2) Increased my knowledge and techniques in photography -- I have such a lot more to learn
3) Increased my awareness of the natural world around me
4)Gave me an increased interest in photography
even when my immobility prevents me going out to photograph where & when I would like ,and made me utilize every day objects in the home for my daily post -
5) It has given me a great addictive interest and hobby -- Thank you
6) some times it has been a very difficult to get motivated and find a suitable photo to post --But like Alfie (terrier ) when I get my teeth into any thing I do not like to let go -- my determination with your support has seen me through -
2014 - yes of course I am going to carry on , but maybe more at my own pace -- time will tell !! A Happy New Year to all my friends --the best of health and happiness ! :-))
Wonderful image Beryl and I love what you have written here. It so mirrors my own experience on 365. I am so glad that you will be carrying on in 2014 and I look forward to sharing the journey with you.
A great 'time' picture. I like your sentiments too, and I often marvelled at how you found so much to photograph in your home and garden when I was struggling for inspiration. I will be visiting the garden centre in the spring to stock the garden with some of the plants you have shot this year in your garden!
Wonderful shot Beryl and great words too!! This echoes my thoughts too!! I finish my 365 tomorrow too and am so proud of myself for getting there!! I could not have done it without the great friendships and support I have had!! This really is a great place to be!! See you in 2014 - still so much to learn!!
@barneyone Thank you Rita I shall certainly be hanging around and I hope to be able to support and be there for you when needed -- we all need that kind word or a push along the way from time to time !!
I second all the reasons you give Beryl...so glad you are going to carry on ....this project gets under your skin somehow.....there are a few I follow finishing tomorrow. The comradeship is my favourite....you just don't want to lose touch.
