Sitting in the show room !!!!!!

This week prior to my week in Wales - everything seems to try me !!
a) Laptop out of sorts and seems not to cooperate at all
b) Old laptop really on it's last legs --slow and many functions no longer working !!
c) Tried to make an app. for a blood test when I come back -- the Med centre -having new computer system so had to ring again today
d) Consultant app for today cancelled and re scheduled for tomorrow !!
e) Went to collect my repeat prescriptions this a.m only to find my windscreen wipers no longer spurted water !!
f) Called the garage and pleaded with them to see my car today !!damsel in distress !!! eventually they agreed to see it although fully booked for today !
g)Took car up to the garage for 2.pm and sat in the customer area in the show room --hence the coffee machine and the brand new Clio ! The new model very swish -- but although I like red A red car would unsettle my nerves especially as the dashboard was also red leather !!--I really understand now the phrase "seeing red " and" like a red rag to a bull "!!!!!!
h)After an hour and a half _ I was more than grateful that they found and fixed me a new washer motor !! -also they had given the car a wash and had vacuumed the interior !! my faith in human nature restored !!
Now I have some ironing and packing to do !!
Three good things --
1) Gary's mowed the lawn
2) Alfie has been treated for the prevention of fleas and has been wormed !
3) I have lost a pound in weight this last week !!!!! lol

Love your long list of woes but you have come through in the end Beryl & all set for your holiday. Are you taking Alfie or is Gary looking after him or are you all,going & where to...I am a nosy Parker! People do try to come up trumps......good for the garage.

I was pretty het up this afternoon thinking I wouldn't be ready to go on Sat morning --Alfie is going to his usual kennels ( big woe -he hasn't been there for 3 years as we havent been away since I was taken ill !! ) Gary &I are going to Porthadog in N Wales -- an annual pilgrimage !!

Lovely collage. My what a day you have had. I'd need a lie down after all that and that was just after reading it too. So good that all ended well and you got your car cleaned and vacuumed into the bargain. How good is that.

Super images, showrooms are the same everywhere. Sorry about your medical etc. frustrations, I'm experiencing similar. Hope you're having a good holiday.
