-Berries !

In spring delightful large spear shaped white veined leaves -- great in floral art , Summer a beautiful lily shaped flower and now as summer draws to Autumn we have these stems of bright berries

Added info: This is the Arum Italicum ( Italian arum ,or Italian lord and ladies !! ) A close relative to the Arum maculatum ( the woodland's cuckoo pint ) The A Italicum has white veins on the leaves while the leaf of the woodland cousin Arum Maculatum has black spots on their leaves !

Beautiful - as long as you don't try eating them. I think they are cuckoo pint, very poisonous.

Somehow, orange is poisonous in plants - except for citrus, of course. These berries seem to grow at the end of a stalk! Very different from hanging berries!

We have these in our garden too...very striking but so poisonous I believe.....they seem to like a shady spot.
