--taken hand held and on full zoom ! The project has been going on since 2004 when the 1st pair of ospreys decided to nest here . The nest is a rough structure of twigs ,similar to an eagle's nest . the nest is on the flat limb of the tree with the white post to the left supporting the camera focused onto the nest . When we visited there were three eggs and the second egg had hatched that morning . Lovely to watch the parents feeding the chicks on the live web cam.
