Just around the garden--although nice & sunny -there is a nasty wind Making Macro photography very difficult as the flowers blow & dance in the breeze !!

@valanne Thanks Valerie the main image is the Rhododendron --with a form of aquilegia in front of it , The two images to the right are of "aquilegia " commonly known as "Granny's bonnet * !!
@maggiemae Ooh thanks Maggiemae yes it was quite windy made things quite difficult --thank goodness for digital you could imagine how many rolls of films we'd go through in this game !!!
@malc Thank you Malc --the trouble with the aquilegia the beautifully coloured hybrids often revert back to the old original colours !! Mind you I must have planted the original plants over 30 yrs ago !! & they are doing very well this year !!
@eniaral Thank you Laraine --I do love my garden .It was one place of solace I had after my husband died -and as many a time I have quoted out of R Kipling 's poem " You are nearer to God in the garden ,than anywhere else on earth !"
