Went to Rainham Marshes with hubby today (this is not him by the way!!) and we joined RSPB for a year so looking forward to browsing the book for other places that we can visit, but this place is only about 1/2 hour drive so plenty of opportunities for photos.
Sorry just can not help but snap other photographers at times...well its much easier than trying to capture birds in flight ...... but hopefully one day I will master it.
Next time I visit I think i'm going to take my 150-600mm lens but then again do love macro photography so may just take 105mm macro lens hmmm decisions.
@barrowlane Not sure what this guy had but me nothing professional the best I probably have is 150-600mm Sigma and my 105mm Tamron macro but most of my shots are luck....
I have a Tokina 100mm macro lens which is my favorite all round. It's quick and I think produces my best shots maco and otherwise. All but one pice of equipment I have purchased is second hand. I buy from camera outlets but even so you can save a fortune. I'm not brave enough to buy off eBay but I did get the one lens I bought new online from China which I worried about but it arrived and is fine. Again saved loads buying it from there.
