Brussels Waffles Van

Had a wonderful break away. Hubby working.... me shopping, sight-seeing and photo opportunities.
Monday I spent in Brussels, Tuesday went to Antwerp zoo and Wednesday again strolling around Brussels.
Had a fabulous time although not advisable to drink 3 motijo's ( 3 for 2 offer) on a fairly empty stomach, I certainly was very giggly. Tuesday spent most of the day at Antwerp zoo, all the little snack places were closed hence not much to eat for the day. I grabbed a waffle at the station. Hubby met me at the station or rather chased after me as the text didn't arrive that he was walking up to meet me, And he saw me walking towards the Grand Place. First stop was Neuhouse then we went for a drink and onto a lovely pizza place really enjoyed very tasty pizza lovely and spicy. Then strolling back to the hotel ....oh ...waffle with strawberries and white chocolate, oh that was such fun ... we arrived at the Hotel Metropole and the cafe is now open so enjoyed a coffee and eating the waffle which I certainly couldn't do while walking along.
Today strolling around Brussels taking more shots so tons of photos now to edit.

How funny we were in Brussels at the same time I was there Monday and Tuesday too :-) and how fab that you stayed at the Hotel Metropole - I always stay fairly near there at Place Rogier in the Hilton Brussels City as our company has a Corporate rate there but has a very famous association with the Metropole - I work for Solvay - HQ'd in Brussels and the 1911 Solvay conference was held at your hotel famous participants were Marie Curie &, Einstein http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solvay_Conference

@pyrrhula Hi thank you I'm going back in April so please let me know, hopefully they are within walking distance of the main train station as I tend to walk everywhere, hubby tries to encourage me to use public transport but I tend to avoid it when I'm on my own. Hubby has to travel to Brussels for work so sometimes I go with him.
