Millie challenge today

Millie arrived home from work this evening and since it was such a lovely day said mum do you fancy going for a walk. Well after 1 hour 15 mins we had walked 5km and burned 323 calories! This info was using mapmywalk on the iPhone which Millie has on her phone.
It'll be a mini marathon soon :-)

That number of calories doesn't sound much does it? You could eat this in one chocolate bar, or one ham sandwich! Walking has to be for the exercise not for losing weight! You have a great place to walk!

Nice photo to show where you walked and how much!! It rained here today, so no walking!! Plus I have 4 more days before I am allowed to do anything until my eye heals up!! Then I will be back walking again! Walking IS for losing weight!! If you walk at a faster pace than your heart rate you will burn more calories even at the same distance you walk slow at. Exercise is for losing weight!! You just eat in moderation! When I first started walking just one mile a day at a faster pace, I lost 16 pounds in a month!! Keep at it if you can!!! I walk the first time to burn calories and lose weight, I walk the second time to take photos and enjoy the walk!! My phone has one of those apps that keeps track of how far you walk and how many calories you lose also. You will be surprised at how far you go, just walking around in your house!! FAV!

What a lovely mother and daughter activity to do together, I always enjoy it when I go exploring with my daughter!
