Millie is overjoyed ... she found out today that is has gained a place at Liverpool UniversitySo now its decsions decisions, Greenwich OR Liverpool
Her head is telling Greenwich but her heart is saying Liverpool. She just loves Liverpool, Millie and I for quite a few years used to go Sale shopping just after Christmas for a couple of nights, so much fun and laughter. So much excitement moving out and studying away from home BUT Greenwich she has family for support, washing and cooking done for her, its cheaper as living at home, she can also keep her Apple job that she loves BUT at the end of the day Millie got to make the choice..
She is waiting to see if Northampton offer her a place, and also she found out this morning that she got an interview for Oxford Brooks but has decided not to bother with that one.
Her dream of been a paramedic is coming true and she is just so so happy. She now has to pass her C1 to drive an ambulance which is is going to do as soon as possible. She wants to finish her collage assignments first then I think is is planning to hopefully get the theory and pass the C1 in April/May.
@onewing She would go with her heart but the Greenwich is a degree course (3 years and funded) whereas the Liverpool is foundation (2 years and funded) so she knows that the degree course will be far more beneficial to career progression in the future, and that was from a person in the Red Cross where she goes on a Monday so I think she has made her mind up but Who Knows?
If you lived out of London that would definitely be the draw - a degree is nice - and Oxford has its own merits - Good Luck, Millie - and keep us updated :)
