Having fun Editing in Photoshop

Which one do you prefer top or bottom? Have loads of photos to go through and organise but nice to have a bit of fun editing otherwise sorting can just become so mundane.

The bottom one. He’s the thing that should stand out, IMO, not the bench.

I prefer the lower one -- has a stronger sense of composition. The sc in the upper one didn't work as well for me as it makes the shot about the bench instead of about the figure which I found to feel like the main storyline.
