This opossum and his brother are the fattest opossums I've ever seen! We knew it was probably opossums stealing our cat's food, but couldn't ever find them. I figured out they were squishing themselves under the door to get in to the shed at night, because the wood was scratched or chewed away. This day I looked around in there, when once again the food dish was licked clean, and saw what looked like a full kitty litter bag. I knew we'd just emptied it, so I carefully looked in and saw fur, picked up the very heavy bag, and tossed it onto the driveway. A huge, fat opossum waddled away, but there was a tail still hanging out of the bag with what looked like fur attached. After I got my phone to take a picture, I tossed a half full bag of cat food onto the other bag, which made him stick his head out and show me his teeth. But he put his head back inside the bag, thinking I couldn't see him! I gently kicked at the bag until he, too, finally waddled away, heading for the barn, where I watched him squish himself under another door!
