My Christmas Cactus is starting to open it's blooms. My maternal grandmother had this and gave it to my mother who gave me a starter from it in 1978. Grandma passed away in 1978 and my mother's Christmas Cactus died in the early '80's, so I feel very fortunate to have this plant!
