Walked past this excavator on the way home from work. This land belongs to a technical school by the name of NAIT (Northern Alberta Institue of Technology). They had torn down a building and wer clearing the land. The operator had this rock and was dropping it in an attempt to break it. After a few tries he succeeded. I am not sure what is going to go up here but there is a lot of constructioin going on in this area with the expansion of the Light Rail Transit
I am going to apologize now If over the next few days I don not have a chance to view all of your pictures as My wife and I are working on a special project for this weekend. I will still post a picture everyday and I will try to respond to all of your comments
Were you there when it dropped..that must've been quite a noise I imagine.
construction everywhere here too. extension of an underground subway line. (this is in the city of Toronto)..road repairs everywhere..in ou r immediate area not only are they widening the roads for the traffic that will soon be so much heavier when the new extension of a highway (now in progress) which will then go as far as where we live.,will be finished..so that'll be nice for us. in your case I hope they save the trees. I'm always so sad when they have to be removed.
@bruni Yes I got to watch it be dropped and picked up and dropped again several times until it finally broke. I will have take a look and see if they kept the trees
