This is the Fort Edmonton Footbridge which was built recently in the SW section of the city. Everytime I would see an article it would never give any info as to where it was located or directions as to how to get to it. After a few attemps on my own to try to find it I finally went to Edmonton Tourism and they gave me a map of the trails in the river valley which I was able to use in order to get to it.
When Melody and I got there we discovered a very very very long path mostly downhill to get to the bridge. Melody only went about halfway. I was determined to see it and get some pictures. It really is a neat bridge and looks like a great place to go hiking. I am now looking forward to going back sometime when I can spend more time there
wonderful shot of a nice looking bridge. you must go back there, of course. this is a perfect subject for the four-seasons. i would be you it would be lovely.
Nice perspective and photo. It definitely looks like a place you could visit many times and always find something interesting to photograph. Maybe a visit in warmer weather will encourage Melody to cross the bridge with you. Nice shot!
