The Big Freeze

Every year at the beginning of January the Alberta Avenue Cummunity puts on the Deep Freeze Fesitval. It is a two day event of fun filled activities for the family.
It includes entertainment Ice and Snow Scupting skating and as seen here some old fashoned curling.
This is the fifth year for the festival and it was the first time that Melody and I took it in. I took a lot of shots but really liked this one
It was fun and the weather was actually quite nice out

Fun shot! That little curler there is so cute! I've always wanted to play this sport ever since I saw it on the tv during the Calgary Olympics.
