Telus World of Science by bkbinthecity

Telus World of Science

This is where the Titanic Exhibit that we took in was held. The large white building is the original Space Science Centre that was built to replace the old Queen Elizabeth Planetarium. The structure on the left is an addition that was done a few years ago.
Today it is known as Telus World of Science. There are several galleries that have hands on displays for people to experiment with and learn at the same time.
There is an IMAX Theatre and a planetarium. Of course it is large enough to hold a variety of exhibits
There is also an outdoor observatory that operates on the weekends
This looks like a wonderful place to explore.

February 20th, 2012
Looks so very different than our Telus world of science. Oddly enough, we had plans to go there today (the one in Vancouver, not Edmonton, lol) - but the rainy weather turned around and we spent the day outdoors instead:)
February 20th, 2012
@pwallis Don't blame you I would have done the same. The white building was the original and when it was built Telus had nothing to do with it
February 20th, 2012
@lauriehiggins Well it really is a great place. I personally believe that there is always so much for people to do they just have to look around and get out there and have a good time
