The Aftermath by bkbinthecity

The Aftermath

Well our biggest snow storm of the winter came and today this is the result. Our sidewalks are covered and it is fun trying to make your way throough them.
The good news is that living in an apartment means I do not have to go out and shovel all of this. The owner of the building gets someone to come and do that. So as you can see in this picture I hope that they come soon It is a very bright sunny day and the birds were singing and we went out for a walk took some shots and stopped by Starbucks for a nice hot drink
Have a good week everyone

i have a dumb question - why do people bother to 'shovel out the sidewalk' when it will just melt by itself?

February 27th, 2012
@sharonthompson The city only gives us 48 hours after the snow stops to shove your sidewalk otherwise they can give you a fine. Also it will take quite a while to see all of this melt away
