We are ten days into spring and today was our first day of double digits as far as the weather goes. So after work I took some time to go walking to see what I could find.
I was happy with so many of my shots that I thought I would put together another collage to show of what today was like
Starting at the tope left I saw this dried up grass as I was looking up to catch a glimpse of McDougall United Church. Going clockwise I spotted some green grass . Then I came across the digital sign showing off the temperture. 12 C is about 56 F. Made my way to Churchill Square and took a shot of Tix on the Square. This is a neat shot that is run by the Edmonton Arts Council which is a combination gift shop and ticket outlet. This is quite handy to get tickets to all of the different events taking place in the Arts District. The final shot shows off some tables and chairs that have been set up in the square for people to just sit and relax. I saw these two girls sitting there and I noticed that this shot would show of the Alberta Art Gallery ( the funky looking building in the background) which opened in 2010.
So all of that to say this I was extremely happy with what I call our first day of Spring
