Forgotten

Well we are back in Edmonton and since it is pouring rain outside I decided that I would post another picture from our trip.
Through out the trip we came across several abandoned buildings whether they were houses, barns or other structures. The prairies are full of them.
This one we came across near Regina Saskatchewan. I took the time to take a few shots I even tried to get close enough to get a couple inside. I thought this one depicted what I was going for the best.
So I figure that it is now simply a forgotten home. But now that it is on 365 maybe it now has a new lease on life
Great capture

If walls could talk, the stories they would be able to tell of the many families this house once sheltered!......Actually if looks like it could be a very nice house if restored!!

April 29th, 2012
how could such a pretty house be abandoned? and it is huge! how does it happen that the structure is left to decay, it's a shame and there are a lot of people wanting to have their own homes and couldn't afford it. rant, rant, rant, summerfield. however, it makes for a nice photo.
April 30th, 2012
@summerfield I know what you mean. It still amazes me with how many of these houses are left all across the prairies
April 30th, 2012
Seeing how lovely it looks now, it must have been really pretty when it was occupied.
April 30th, 2012
