Photographer's Paradise

I love going to Fort Edmonton Park for a number of reasons. One of which is that it provides countless subjects to photograph.
I came across this fence near the McCauley Livery Stable and I could not resist. I decided that I liked the black and white version better than the colour. I trust you all had a great weekend and will have a wonderful week
Very nice light and perspective. Works well in b&w.

This is the same type of old farm fence that was used way back in the time of our. Abraham Lincoln who as a young man worked as a rail-splitter to make these fences, where they used these split. Logs instead of whole logs....(Abraham Lincoln went on to become one of our Presidents, and was responsible for freeing the slaves)...your photo reminded me of this...
