Christmas Past

So today's words are festive and sombre. So I was thinking of my Dad who passed away in 2003. He always enjoyed this time of the year. This is a picture of him with my Mom Christmas Eve 1992. He is opening a gift we gave him. A wood carved picture of old time harvest on the farm.
My Dad grew up on the farm and was used to this. This picture still hangs in the living room.

Aww, this is so sweet. Beautiful memories. My dad always loved Christmas,too. He passed in 1991 but I can still see him sitting in his favorite chair and I have fond memories of his last Christmas.

My Dad passed in 1998 and this reminds me of a photo of him with a case for his belt buckles we gave to him one Christmas before he passed.
