Around The World---Garden of the Gods

In 2002 we had travelled down to Kansas City MO to visit Melody's brother and his family. On our way back home we decided to make our way through the state of Colorado. We spent a little bit of time in Colorado Springs. While we were there we took time to visit the Garden of the Gods. It was our first time there and we just loved all of the wonderful rock formations and the beautiful scenery

It looks so pretty there! When Steve and I were in Idaho we went to a place called the City of Rocks! Those formations were also incredible! When things settle down i will get back to posting more of our adventures! :)

That is an amazing place. My cousin brought me there when I was out visiting back in the mid-90's. I was shooting film at the time and I think I shot off 5 rolls of 36 exposures! I bought a hand-crafted mug at one of the gift shops and still use it- remembering my trip there every time I do.
