Under Construction

This is one of the newest condos being built here in Edmonton. This is The Pearl. It sits on Jasper Avenue and will be 35 stories tall. It will provide a wonderful view of the river valley or the downtown skyline depending on which way you face
Buildings seem to be getting higher and higher, nice capture of the new construction site.

I'm feeling naive (well, ignorant is probably a better term), but I had no idea, Brian, that Edmonton had such tall buildings. Bigger city than I thought.

35 stories - that must be right up there in the running for tallest in Edmonton?

How fun is that to watch the sky line develop. The building looks like such a skeleton now.

@http365proj They are getting taller here due to the fact that they lifted a height restriction that used to be in place

I'm always amazed by the process that goes into building these enormously tall buildings. You have to be a certain sort of person to be a crane driver that's for sure. Not for me with my fear of heights :o) xx
April 21st, 2013
Looks great.
April 21st, 2013
@psychographer I love watching them go up and I definitely could not be a crane operator either
