Construction in progress

At the early part of my project I posted a picture of the old Bank of Montreal. Since then the developers mad a decision to tear the building down a build something new. The far left shows the building just before they started to tear it down. The second shot shows the building coming down. It was a very long process as they tore it down one level at a time. Picture three shows it nearly all down and the last shot was take a few days ago as the new building is going up
guess that is what keeps the economy moving, eh.

It seems such a waste of effort and resources! I expect it is the location that is important!

That's a lot of work...I wonder if they were salvaging as they took it down so that things could be reused.

It doesn't seem like there was anything wrong with the old one, but who knows, maybe there was asbestos in the walls or something. Great collage- it really shows the transformation.
