Multi Purpose Building

So this building was built as the Parish Hall for St Mary's Cathedral in 1904. You can see the church in yesterdays photo. It went on to become a school for a few years before the church sold it to the Canadian Northern Railroad. CN Rail abandoned the building in 1971. The City of Calgary bought the building in 1978 and today it is home to the Alberta Ballet. Tomorrow we will look at the addition the railroad added on
It is a beautiful old building...it is really nice they have such a great use for it! Nice capture!
