Windy day at the beach

Yesterday on our way to my see my aunt we pass through the town of Sylvan Lake. Lakeshore Boulevard runs alongside the beach. They have several loading zones along the way and so I pulled into one and got out to take this shot of the whitecaps on the water. Needless to say it was extremely windy yesterday but we did think that it made for a nice picture. Going through Sylvan Lake made me think of my Dad. As a kid growing up whenever we went down to my Aunt and Uncles Farm we would always pass through the town even though it took a little longer to get to our destination. So I guess I am like my Dad in more ways than one
