Aviation Week....CF-101 Voodoo

So with some really nice weather today I made a stop by the Alberta Aviation Museum on my way to work today to take a few photos. I have decided that I would share some of these in a short little Aviation Series this week.
This is a McDonnell Douglas CF-101 Voodoo. It was used by the Royal Canadian Air Force from 1961-1984. It has a top speed of Mach 1.78 Along with the USAF it was an important part of NORAD
I wouldn't have thought they would call any plane a Voodoo! Or perhaps they thought it would fly like a broomstick!
